Prashnenti

Prashnenti: the First of All…

Before it was a novel, it was a screenplay.

Prashnenti started as a feature film I could see long before I could finish writing it. The images arrived first. A fracture of fire and light through carved stone. A ruin older than recorded history. A single question no one was ever meant to ask. The story refused to wait for a camera, so I told it as a book. This is that book: my debut novel, and Book One of a planned series.

It is a mythological thriller. Beneath the ruins of Göbekli Tepe lies a structure that should not exist, holding a message no one was meant to read. When a painter vanishes from a quiet American city, an aspiring investigator no one takes seriously, her detective friend, and an enigmatic stranger who understands the mystery better than either of them follow his trail into a labyrinth where mythology, science, and history collide. Every answer they find leads to a deeper mystery. The one question that matters stays unasked.

I wrote Prashnenti for anyone who has ever suspected the ancient world knew far more than we give it credit for.

The film adaptation remains the long-term goal. This novel is where that world begins.
